In Romans 5:1, we read, ---
"Therefore, since we have been justified through faith,
we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, ---"
And in Hebrews 12:14, we read, ---
"Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy;"
We Christians have an inner peace from knowing Jesus, and we are to
make every effort to live in peace with all men and women in the world.

- Gene Dirr professed his faith in Jesus Christ at the age of eleven. After a small-town Texas childhood, Dirr received his Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas, Austin. A veteran of the United States Air Force and on active duty during the Cuban Missile Crisis, the author moved from an insurance examiner for the state of Texas to owning his own insurance agency. Now semi-retired, Mr. Dirr has been recognized as a leader in the Executive Level Appointment Setting business. He continues his love of church and community by teaching Sunday school in his Methodist church.
