Established in 1800, The Library of Congress employs over 5,000
people; and houses approximately 130 million items catalogued on
approximately 530 miles of bookshelves. Over 10,000 new items
are added to the collection daily. All of this makes The Library of
Congress by far the largest library in the word!!!
