The first part is (1) the belt of truth buckled around your waist.
In John 14:6, Jesus said, ---
"I am the way and the truth and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through me."
Jesus cuts through all the world's distortions, deceptions, and compromises.
When you study His truth through daily Bible reading, you see the world
from God's high vantage point and His truth becomes a part of you.

- Gene Dirr professed his faith in Jesus Christ at the age of eleven. After a small-town Texas childhood, Dirr received his Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas, Austin. A veteran of the United States Air Force and on active duty during the Cuban Missile Crisis, the author moved from an insurance examiner for the state of Texas to owning his own insurance agency.
